Mount Warburton Pike

Mount Warburton Pike is the highest peak on Saturna Island, reaching 401m and offering unparalleled views of Vancouver Island, the San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Peninsula. A suv-style vehicle with higher clearance is recommended for the drive up through beautiful, moss- and lichen-covered forests to reach the best vantage point over the Gulf Islands. Stay slow and keep an eye out for the resident feral goats along the way. Once at the top, take the Brown Ridge Nature Trail, where you may spot Pine Siskins, Mountain Bluebirds, and other local wildlife amidst the rugged cliffs.
