This tiny bird is one of our most recognizable residents. Males have spectacular pink feathers on their heads which flash with iridescence in the sun.
All – notable for how constant they are throughout the year.
Often feeding in gardens and parks wherever flowers are found, they are also familiar sights in gardens and at household hummingbird feeders. They’re fast, so you’ll have to be quick if you want a photo!
You can find the Anna’s Hummingbird throughout every Region and Outpost on The BC Bird Trail!
